Aman Chadha

Aman Chadha is currently the head of a Generative AI team of scientists and managers at Amazon Web Services (AWS). Prior to this role, he led the Speaker Understanding & Personalization team at Amazon Alexa AI. Before joining Amazon, Aman was part of the Machine Intelligence Neural Design (MIND) team at Apple, where he trained on-device multimodal AI models for a wide range of applications, including Natural Language Processing, Computer Vision, and Speech Recognition. He was also one of the early architects of Apple's M1 chip, developing ML models for estimating the performance of future Macs years in advance. Prior to Apple, Aman worked at Qualcomm and Nvidia, focusing on neural accelerators and GPUs. Aman is a recipient of the EB-1 "Einstein Visa," which is conferred by the U.S. Government for extraordinary acclaim in a specialized field. Academically, Aman pursued his graduate studies in Artificial Intelligence from Stanford University, specializing in Multimodal AI. He received his Master's in Computer Engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where he was awarded an outstanding graduate student award. Aman obtained his Bachelor's in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering with distinction from the University of Mumbai. As a Research Fellow at universities around the U.S. and India, Aman advises AI research projects and has published in leading venues such as ACL, EMNLP (Outstanding Paper Award '23), AAAI, EACL, ECIR, ECML, WSDM, ICASSP, and others. His work has been featured in various publications, including The Washington Post, Wikipedia, New Scientist, Analytics India Magazine, and YourStory.
