Floating Offshore Wind Construction System Technology Research Association (FLOWCON) is a leading Japanese technology research association dedicated to advancing the floating offshore wind industry. Our mission is to establish efficient, safe, and cost-effective construction systems tailored to the unique natural and social conditions of Japan.

By integrating the expertise of Marine Contractors, Steel Engineering Firms, Floating Structure Fabricators, and Heavy Lift & Logistics Solutions Firms, FLOWCON conducts R&D on rationalized construction systems, offshore work bases, and metocean prediction systems specialized for offshore wind construction. We aim to strengthen Japan's energy security and contribute to a carbon-neutral future by accelerating the large-scale deployment of floating offshore wind farms through cross-industry collaboration and technological standardization.
