The visit will provide an opportunity to visit some of the experimental setups of the Propulsion and Power group at Aerospace Engineering and those of the Gas Turbines group at Mechanical Engineering.

Laboratory Mechanical Engineering (3ME) at TU Delft Department of Process and Energy
The organic Rankine cycle hybrid integrated device (ORCHID): 10 kW high-speed ORC turbine testing and supersonic nozzle test section for high-temperature dense organic vapor flow visualization and measurements.
The SIMONA Research Simulator can realistically simulate all types of aircraft, helicopters and even cars.
The simulator was specially built for TU Delft and is used as a laboratory for education and research in the fields of flight simulation technology and human-machine interaction.
