The IGTI Student Advisory Committee (SAC) is looking for student liaisons to interact directly with the IGTI technical committees. SAC liaisons serve as a link between the SAC and the technical committee they are assigned to and are expected to communicate directly with its leadership. This role will give students a chance to collaborate with technical experts, share ideas, and explore opportunities for networking and professional development.
RESPONSIBILITIES
TECHNICAL COMMITTEE
- Serving as session co-chair, according to the specific committees' needs.
- Involvement in the committee dialogues throughout the year.
- Potential support in the organization of tutorial sessions.
- Note keeping during committee meetings.
- Acting as reviewer, with respect to the specific committee's needs.
STUDENT ADVISORY COMMITTEE
- Attending the Early Career Engineer and Student Mixer (Sunday before the conference starts).
- Participation in the SAC Annual Meeting.
- Participation in midterm meetings before the conference.
REQUIREMENTS
- Applicants must be degree-seeking students.
- The liaison should attend Turbo Expo 2024.
- The service period will extend from December 22, 2023, to June 28, 2024.
- Additional expectations may be outlined by the SAC leadership team or by the technical committees.
